𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒆 ~ A real thrift store experience
Paul almost walked past it.
On a back shelf inside the thrift store at Ashure Ministry sat a plain cardboard box—easy to miss.
Inside was a simple set of plates. Not perfect. Not matching. But whole.
He picked it up, noticed the $5 sticker, and stepped quietly into line, holding the box a little closer than necessary.
In front of him, a man named Max said, “You can rest that right here.”
Paul gently placed the box down. Then came the words that changed the moment.
“About a year ago, I was standing right here buying plates too,” Max said. “I had just lost everything in a house fire.”
Paul looked up.
Max continued, “I didn’t understand it then—why something so small mattered so much. But those plates meant I was able to start again.”
Two men. Same need.
Different places in their story. One rebuilding. One living proof that God brings you through.
Paul glanced down at the plates again. They weren’t just dishes anymore. They were hope.
Things like this happen every day inside Ashure Ministry Thrift Store. Not just shopping, but quiet moments where someone who has walked through loss recognizes it in someone else and offers reassurance without even trying.
When you support Ashure Ministry, you’re not just meeting practical needs—you’re placing hope in someone’s hands at the exact moment they need to believe a new beginning is possible.
